The property is located just 2 blocks from public beach access, and 4 blocks from the Hangout, and is in walking distance to popular shopping spots and restaurants.

This is a charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit, w/open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and smart TVs in every room. There is a spacious, private outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Relax on the covered front porch while you enjoy your morning coffee and in the afternoon soak in the Vitamin D on the very large sun deck. Behind the house is a canal that attracts pelicans, herons, and osprey hunting for fish in the early morning. The canal also provides hours of fun fishing, crabbing, and Kayaking.

* House is equipped with Yale Smart Lock. To unlock: Press Yale logo, enter code provided and press check mark. To lock: Press Yale logo. * No smoking or vaping in the house or on the deck. A smoking area with picnic table is provided under the house. Please place butts in the sand bucket. There will be an additional $150 cleaning fee for smoking inside the house. * No parties or large gatherings. *Due to allergy concerns, we are NOT a pet friendly location. * !!! IMPORTANT !!! Clearance for parking under the deck is 6 feet/7 inches. DO NOT park a full size Truck or SUV under the house. * There is space for 3 vehicles to park at the house. * Minimum age to rent is 25 yrs. Guests under the age of 25 are to be accompanied by a guest 25 yrs or older. *Exterior security cameras are in place *The house is accessible via a flight of stairs. There is no elevator, so this house is not handicap accessible.

Underneath the house is a storage area with a sign that reads Sandpiper 2. Inside are 2 Kayaks, a Corn Hole game, beach toys, chairs, and a wagon for your enjoyment. Please return all items to the shed when you are finished using them. ***Please note*** we own the house next door. Guest staying there have access to a separate storage area located under your house. Those guests are only authorized to access the Sandpiper 1 storage shed and have strict instructions to NOT use your outdoor shower or loiter at your lower level seating and picnic area.

We stayed for 2x nights for the Alabama Coastal Triathlon in September. JT's place was perfect! Beautiful little beach house that was ideal for 6x adults. We walked to the beach and rode our bikes to the transition area at The Hangout. Check-in was easy, and value per person was awesome! We would stay here again if we get the chance to race next year!

The house was perfect for 4 adults and could have held total of 6. Furniture was comfortable and house is beautiful. Close enough to walk to almost everything you need from stores to eating and most importantly the beach. Will definitely be back for another stay in the future. Only a minor complaint was the porch light was on at the house next door with no tenants and it shines in the back bedroom window. But nothing a little shirt over the blinds couldn’t take care of. Overall it was an excellent 10/10 stay.

This beach house was an absolute dream! Located just a short stroll from the sparkling Gulf Shores coastline, it offered the perfect blend of luxury and laid-back charm. Every detail in the home was clearly curated with care—from beach gear and canal essentials to cozy indoor touches that made us feel instantly at ease. We especially loved starting our mornings kayaking through the peaceful canal—a serene experience that added a unique twist to our beach vacation. JT was a phenomenal host, always quick to respond and genuinely thoughtful. It’s clear he takes pride in making sure guests have everything they need—and then some! Already counting down the days until we can return to this slice of paradise. Highly recommend to anyone wanting relaxation with a splash of adventure.
